This Next Mega Trend Will Make Millionaires but Few See It Coming
There is a quietly emerging new technology that is going to dominate our lives in the next 10 years. I believe we have an opportunity today to get in early on what will later emerge as a huge bubble this cycle yet no one sees it coming. The new technology I’m talking about you are all probably familiar with but are dismissing what it will become. I’m not talking about AI or NFTS or the Metaverse I’m talking about something that ties them all together. Spacial Computing. Spacial computing will be the next evolution of technology on par with the how the iphone changed the world.
Just a little over a year ago I was over at a friends house and they had an Oculus which is METAs virtual reality headset. I remember putting it on for the first time and having an aha moment. These moments don’t come around very often but when they do I know I’m onto something big. The last time I had a eureka moment like this was in 2021 when I discovered NFTs before they exploded. Then I had another similar experience with the metaverse hype before it took off. Now I am telling you AR/VR is going to be massive.
After I put the Oculus on I immediately realized that whichever company is able to come out with the least invasive headset is going to have the next Iphone on their hands. I imagine that in 10 years most people will be walking around with a simple pair of what looks like glasses on their face but is actually a spacial computing headset. But don’t just take my word for it listen to what Mark Zuckerberg has to say about it here. He says, “I think that you can think of the glasses as the next computing generations phone.” He is telling you the exact conclusion I arrived at 9 months ago.
So while most people are laughing at the Apple Vision Pro headset and making memes out of the people wearing them, I see opportunity. We have seen this movie a million times before when it comes to new technology. First they laugh at you then they have no choice but to join you. The internet was ridiculed when it came out, crypto was ridiculed, the Iphone was ridiculed, but look where we are now. Vision Pro is funny and clunky now but people won’t be laughing in 5-10 years.
Just peel back the curtain here and you can see the writing is already on the wall. Governments like Tokyo and India are already joining the race.
Considering the substantial amount of money being invested in the space by technology giants they are smart to get on board early. The implications and range of industries set to be affected by this technology are wide and far. Everything from the medical field, to education, to gaming will be using this technology to enhance their industry.
According to a whatech.com report the ar/vr market size is set to reach over $71 billion USD by 2028 up from $25 billion today. This is nearly a tripling of the entire market in just 5 years. They attribute this growth to capital infusion into the space, consumer experiences (like the one Japan is rolling out) and gesture tracking devices (devices that track your movement through space. Applicable to gaming and the medical field) among other things.
It’s no surprise the key players in this space include the likes of Google, Microsoft, Sony, META, SAMSUNG, HTC, and Apple. They know whats coming and the race is on to create the “next Iphone.”
In fact if you talk to any tech nerds that have or have used the Vision Pro already they nearly unanimously describe it as life changing. These are the circles you want to be in, these are the people at the cutting edge of technology. Now, I’m not here to argue whether this is good or bad or whether you want to live in a virtual reality or not. I’m simply telling you that the next evolution of computing is here and we can capitalize on it today. In order for the metaverse to take its next step, NFTs to truly be appreciated, gaming to go to the next level, and everyday experiences to be inhanced, it all hinges on spacial computing advancing. Throw in some AI to interact with and crypto to tokenize it and you have the makings of a mega bubble emerging.
